Bengaluru: The Karnataka BJP on Thursday said that former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is responsible for the growth of SDPI in the state.

In a series of tweets, BJP said,” SDPI is threatening the people saying they have ‘Money and Muscle’ power. This is happening because of Siddaramaiah as he withdrew cases against the SDPI activists during his tenure. His government withdrew 175 cases against PFI, SDPI and KFD activists. Society will never forgive him.”

“Siddaramaiah was well aware of the fact that SDPI will prove to be a threat to the Nation. But, he did not take action against them as he did not want to lose his vote bank. Now, society is paying the price of the party’s mistakes,” BJP added.
