Mangaluru: Cop on the way to office suddenly collapses, passes away

Mangaluru: In a tragic incident, a young policeman working in the fingerprint section here suddenly died on Friday March 4, reports said.
Thippanna Nagavva Madara (37) who was serving as the assistant police sub inspector, suddenly collapsed near AB Shetty circle while reportedly walking to his office at around 4 PM on Friday.
The policemen who were with him at the time, rushed him to a private hospital which referred him to KMC hospital for advanced treatment. However, he died before reaching the hospital, reports said.
Thippanna, a resident of Ramadurga, Belagavi, joined the police department as a constable in 2011. After his promotion to the rank of ASI, he was posted to Dakshina Kannada and was working in the finger print section at the SP’s office, reports said.
The deceased is survived by wife and three young children.
