Chlorine cylinder gas leak in Mysuru: 25 people fall ill

Mysuru: As many as 25 persons took ill due to a gas leak from a chlorine cylinder at Mysuru railway quarters on Monday, March 7.
Reportedly, there was a gas leak from the chlorine cylinder at around 3 pm and soon the families staying in the nearby quarters started complaining about uneasiness and difficulty in breathing.
Those who took ill after inhaling the gas were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. their condition s said to be stable.
The Fire and Emergency Services officers who rushed to the spot brought the situation under control and said that there is no need for anxiety.
