Cultural hall in Kasaragod: KBADA Chairman holds meeting with DC

Mangaluru: Karnataka Border Area Development Authority (KBADA) chairman Dr. C. Somasekhara submitted an appeal to the Kasaragod district administration for allotting free government land for building a Cultural Hall in Kasaragod.
The KBADA Chairman informed the district collector Bhandari Swagat Ranveerchand that he had arrived at the behest of Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and that the CM was very interested in building a cultural hall for preserving the culture and tradition of Kannadigas in the border district.
It may be recalled that the chief minister had announced in the state budget 2-22-23 that a cultural hall will be built in Kasaragod.
