Bengaluru: Two persons, including a young man, ended their lives in two separate incidents reported from the city.
In the first incident, a 22-year-old youth killed himself after being reprimanded by his parents to reform his ways. The victim, Sanjay, a resident of Pipeline road in Srinivasnagar in Sunkadakatte here, was upset after his parents scolded him about his life choices.
Sanjay had cut short his education midway in PUC and lived a carefree life. He was allegedly irregular at home, often spending days together with his friends.
It is gathered that his parents were fed up with his vagabond lifestyle. On Saturday, when Sanjay returned three days after leaving home, his parents scolded him and advised him to change the company he kept. They asked him to start earning a living.
It is alleged that Sanjay got upset at this and hanged himself in his room. A case has been registered at the Kamakshi Palyam police station in this regard.
Elderly man ends life:
In another incident, an elderly man hanged himself to death from a tree in front of his house in the Jeevanbhim Nagar Police Station limits.
Jeevanbhin Nagar resident, Kodandarama Venkata (70), lived with his son and daughter-in-law took the noose on Saturday night. The exact cause for the extreme step was not known at the time of publication of this news.
