Bengaluru: Miscreants stab, rob foreign nationals; Arrested

Bengaluru: Police officials have arrested four people for stabbing two foreign nationals and stealing valuables from them in Bengaluru.

The arrested accused have been identified as Chandrashekhar (21) of Agrahara Dasarahalli, Darshan (19), Vaibhav  (19) of Papayya Garden and Rakesh Kumar (20) of Bovi Colony.

It is said that the incident occurred on March 11. The two Afghan national students had come to Bengaluru to enroll in Masters in Business Administration program and were returning to their home from a friend’s house around 2 a.m.

The accused waylaid them and demanded their valuable items. When they resisted, the accused stabbed the students and stole cash and mobile phones from them.

Police officials have recovered two mobile phones, cash, American dollars and two-wheelers from the accused.
