Kundapura: In a shocking incident, a son hacked his elderly father to death over a family dispute late on Sunday night. The incident happened at Gopadi village near Koteshwara here.
The deceased has been identified as Narasimha Marakala (74) a resident of Haladi house in Gopadi village. His son Raghavendra (36) was arrested for the crime.
It is gathered that there were differences between the father and son regarding a domestic issue. On Saturday night, Raghavendra used an axe to hack his father to death.
Kundapur police visited the crime scene and have taken up further investigation.
