Kasaragod: Fight between brothers ends in murder!

Kasaragod: A quarrel between siblings ended in murder at Sheni Uppalike near Perla here on Monday, March 21.
The deceased has been identified as Thomas D’Souza (45).
The incident occurred at around 10.30 PM when the brothers Thomas D’Souza and Rajesh D’souza (37), both residents of Uppalike, were engaged in a heated argument.
The brothers reportedly started quarreling about an issue that soon escalated into a full-blown physical fight. During the course of the fight, an enraged Rajesh stabbed his elder brother Thomas with a sharp object. A relative of Thomas, named Wilfred, tried to intervene but was also injured.
The neighbors gathered at the spot of the crime, soon, after hearing the family’s cry for help. Thomas, who was bleeding heavily, was rushed to the Kasargod Hospital but was declared dead later.
Meanwhile, Rajesh has surrendered before police at the Badiyadka police station. Wilfred, who had been injured during the fight is receiving medical treatment at the Pariyaram Medical College Hospital.
