Mysuru: Girl appearing for Class 10 exam dies; cardiac arrest suspected

Mysuru: A student appearing for the SSLC examination collapsed and died in T. Narsipur, Mysuru district on March 28. It is suspected that she died of cardiac arrest.

The deceased has been identified as Anushree, a resident of Akkur village.

Anushree was a student of a high school in Madapura and was appearing for the SSLC examination at Vidyodaya Examination Centre.

It is said that she collapsed while writing the exam and was taken to a nearby hospital. However, doctors said that she was brought dead.

Ramachandra Raje Urs, Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI), Mysuru, has confirmed the death of the student and doctors are yet to ascertain the reason behind her death.
