Kundapur: Leopard rescued from a well

Kundapur: A leopard that had fallen fell into a well in Keradi here was rescued.
Forest department officials were informed about the wild animal trapped in the well of Sukumara Shetty in Keradi.
Under the guidance of Prabhakara Kulal, zonal forest officer of Kundapur a rescue operation was launched. A cage was lowered into the well and the animal was successfully scooped up by the forest officials.
It is suspected that the 3.5-year-old leopard must have come to the village in search of food when it fell into the well.
