IPL betting in DK: Two arrested, Rs 48,000 worth items seized

Vittal: Police officials on Monday arrested three persons during a raid on an illegal IPL cricket betting racket in Vittal. At least Rs 48,000 worth of items have been seized.
It is said that the police received a tip-off about the illegal activities in Kudriya in Kolnad village. Officials found three persons involved in betting and took them into custody.
The accused confessed that they were betting during the Lucknow SuperGiants and Sunrisers Hyderabad match.
Seized items include a laptop, 11 phones and Rs 14,500 cash. Further investigations are underway.
