Udupi: Bengaluru youth meets watery grave in Malpe beach

Udupi: A youth from Bengaluru who had come to Malpe beach drowned to death on Tuesday, April 5.
The deceased has been identified as Samrat, he was working with a private bank in Bengaluru.
Reportedly, a group of nine youths who were on a visit to Udupi to attend a wedding had been to Malpe beach.
While playing Samrat is said to have fallen into the water. A lifeguard along with locals tried to rescue him and took him to the Udupi district hospital for treatment where the doctors declared him dead.
A case has been registered with the Malpe police.
