Udupi: Cars, bike damaged in serial accident

Udupi: Three cars and a bike were damaged in a serial accident that took place in Manipal on Saturday, April 10 night.

As per reports, an Innova car, going from Syndicate Circle to the DC office, swerved off the road and fell into a drain while avoiding a collision with a biker, who took a sudden U-turn.

Upon hearing news of the accident, few persons known to the Innova car occupant arrived at the spot in an XUV and a bike and parked their vehicles by the roadside here.

At the same time, a speeding Hyundai Verna car traveling on this stretch crashed into the compound wall of a house here and then landed on the parked cars here. The locals immediately rushed all the injured to the hospital.

A case has been registered at Manipal Station.
