Bengaluru: Minister K S Eshwarappa handed his resignation from the cabinet post to chief minister Basavaraj Bommai on Friday evening.
Earlier, Eshwarappa had announced his decision to step down from the ministership, after a political row over the death of Belagavi-based contractor Santhosh Patil in Udupi.
Eshwarappa, who arrived at the CM’s official residence in Bengaluru, submitted a one-line resignation to the CM. He also held discussions with the CM for a while.
