Car crashes into railway underpass – 3 killed, 2 injured

Chikkaballapura: Three persons were killed and two others were injured when the car they were traveling in crashed into the railway underpass at Jathavara Hosahalli here.
The deceased have been identified as Arun (39) of KR Pura, Varalakshmi (25) of Somenahalli, and Shivakumar (29) of NRI Layout.
Chandrashekar (43), and Aruna Chandrashekar (39) were injured and are being treated at a hospital.
The accident occurred when they were returning from Srinivaspura in Kolar after visiting a relative, sources said.
DySP Vasudev and Chikkaballapura Rural Police personnel visited the spot and assisted in transporting the injured to the hospital.
