Chamarajanagar: Infant baby boy found abandoned in a bus stop

Hanur (Chamarajanagar): A week-old male baby was found abandoned in a bag at a private bus stop in the town on Sunday evening.
At about 7 pm on Sunday evening, the public noticed a bag abandoned on a chair at the bus stop. They immediately informed the police about it, who found the infant in it.
As news of the boy’s discovery spread across the city, the public gathered in droves to adopt the baby.
The police, meanwhile, are trying to trace the parents of the infant. CCTV camera footage from around the bus stand is being checked to find clues about the kin, sources said.
