Ullal: Youth arrested for behaving indecently with women

Mangaluru: A youth has been arrested for reportedly behaving indecently with a group of women.

The accused, identified as Sujith Shetty (26) from Nitte in Karkala, was arrested based on the complaint filed by one of the women.

As per reports, the incident took place in the early hours of Friday, April 29. The complainant, along with two others, had been to a programme organized at the Huda Jumma Mosque in Thokottu on the occasion of Ramzaan.

When the women were in the prayer room attached to the mosque, the accused allegedly barged into the room. Reports said that the accused flashed his private parts and pulled the women by their hands.

Ullal police have registered a case in this regard and are investigating the matter.
