Order for re-exam before completing probe is a scam: DK Shivakumar

Bengaluru: KPCC president D K Shivakumar alleged that the government has ordered conducting the re-exam for PSI recruitment even before the investigation into the scam is complete. It is still unknown how many of the ministers and officials are involved in the irregularities, he said.

It is a big scam, he added.

The Congress leader said that only a few of the 52,000 aspirants who appeared for the exam were selected. The main reason for the cheating taking place is not yet known. The government said it arrested the gunman of a Congress MLA. “Isn’t it time for revealing culprits amongst you (ruling party)?” he asked sarcastically.

While denying any involvement with Divya Hagaragi, Shivakumar took exception to State BJP’s Twitter post showing him together with her.

He also alleged that these scams were harming the image of the state.
