Tanzanian content creator Kili Paul allegedly injured in knife attack

Internet sensation Kili Paul was allegedly attacked with a knife and beaten with sticks by unidentified assailants, reports said.
The Tanzanian content creator broke the news of the attack in an Instagram story. “People want me down but God will always take me up. Pray for me,” he wrote in the post that shows him lying on a stretcher.
A video about the update on this Instagram story was later published on Paul’s YouTube channel.
Kili paul rose to fame for his accurate lip-synching videos to popular Indian songs. He, along with his sister Neema, posts regular short videos with their unique take on Hindi songs.
In February this year, Paul was felicitated by the Indian High Commission in Tanzania. He was also featured in the Mann Ki Baat talk of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has 3.6 million Instagram followers including several Indian film celebrities, including Gul Panag, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Richa Chadha.
