Puttur: Man tries to molest girl, threatens mother; arrested

Puttur: Police officials on Monday arrested a man on charges of attempting to sexually assault a girl at the KSRTC bus stand in Puttur.

The arrested accused has been identified as Naufal Saralikatte.

Police acting on a complaint from the victim’s mother apprehended Naufal. It is said that the accused allegedly lured the victim, to the washroom and attempted to molest her.

When questioned by the victim’s mother, Naufal threatened her. Following this, a complaint was filed at nearby police station.
