Mangaluru: Physiotherapy student found dead in hostel room; suicide suspected

Mangaluru: A physiotherapy student was found hanging in her hostel room, in an apparent suicide, on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Sandra PP (21), daughter of Padmanabha, a resident of Kannur in Kerala. She was a 3rd-year BPT student at a prominent college in the city.
Police suspect the death may have occurred between 10 am and 12 PM on May 11, sources said.
According to sources, the victim was suffering from depression for more than a year now. She had attempted to take her own life about a year back, sources added.
