Bengaluru: State Health Minister Dr. K Sudhakar tried to cheer up SSLC students who are waiting for the results, with bated breath.
While wishing the best for all SSLC students, the minister said the result of one exam doesn’t decide fate.
In life, victory and defeat are two sides of the same coin. One who has lost can win next. Therefore, the students who are expecting the results of the SSLC examination should not lose their confidence no matter what comes their way, he said.
A setback in one exam is not the end of life. Nor is it the beginning. It’s just part of a process, he opined.
To help the anxious, troubled SSLC students the department of health and family welfare has established a mental health helpline. Telecounselling will be provided to students under distress due to the results.
Any student who is under stress, anxiety, or any other mental health issue can seek help by dialing Helpline Number 080-46110007, he said.
