Udupi: 45-year-old man ventures out at night, goes missing

Kapu:‎‎ A middle-aged man went missing after leaving home on the night of May 18.

Shashidhar Poojary (45), a resident of Pallamaru Moodabettu village in Katapady, is the person missing, police said.

Shashidhar, a daily wage labourer, lived with his wife, son, and mother. On May 18, he had not gone for work but stayed home during the day. After dinner, he suddenly decided to go out at around 11.30 PM. Though his family tried to stop him, he ventured out. Ever since he has been missing.

His family searched for him in the surrounding areas but o no avail. His wife Revathi Poojary has lodged a complaint with the Kapu police station. A police investigation is underway.
