Moideen Kunhi (49) of Badiyadka Goliyadka was abducted by a gang at around 4 PM when he was coming out of a hotel after tea. The abductors forcefully shoved him into a waiting car and fled from the scene at high speed. The locals’ attempts to stop them failed.

The gang had slit Kunhi’s fingers with a knife and was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
