Bengaluru: Two arrested for cheating job aspirants

Bengaluru: Police officials have arrested two men on charges of cheating several job aspirants in Bengaluru.
The arrested accused have been identified as Raghu C alias Navneeth (27), a resident of Rajarajeshwari Nagar and Sai Kiran (25), a resident of Gayatrinagar. Both were PU dropouts who became friends while trying to find a job.
It is said that the duo made women call the job aspirants, offer them a job and later collect money from them.
They allegedly claimed to be the HR managers of a company named Alcon Laboratories India Pvt Ltd and conducted formal interviews.
However, the accused were nabbed after a few victims informed Alcon about the fraud.
Following this, a case was registered at the northeast CEN police. Cops have seized 11 mobile phones, a laptop, two CPUs and Rs 43,000 from the accused.
