Bantwal: 57-year-old fire mishap victim succumbs to injuries

Bantwal: A 57-year-old woman who was hospitalized after a fire mishap succumbed to her injuries.
The deceased is identified as Girija, wife of Padmanabha Poojary.
The fire accident had taken place on May 30 evening, when Girija was lighting a fire to heat the water in the bathroom.
Following the mishap, she was immediately rushed to Wenlock hospital in Mangaluru. But, she breathed her last on June 6 at midnight after she stopped responding to the treatment.
Bantwal rural police station has registered a case in this regard.
