Bantwal: A man lost his life after a car knocked him down at Kalladka Porlippadi on Wednesday, June 8.
The deceased has been identified as Naushad Suribailu (28), a rickshaw driver by profession.
As per sources, Naushad was loading cement sheets onto his rickshaw tempo on Wednesday morning when a car knocked him down from behind. Naushad, who was seriously injured, was rushed to a private hospital in Mangaluru. But could not be saved.
Bantwal traffic police visited the accident spot and registered a case in this regard.
