Late-night shootout in Sullia: Three people held

Sullia: Days after the shootout incident at Sullia here, police arrested three persons.
The arrested are identified as Jayan (38), a Kushalnagar resident, Vinod R (34) and Manoj (25), both residents of Madikeri. A car and the country rifle were seized from their possession.
On June 5 late night, unidentified miscreants had opened fire at Mohammed Sahi (39) of Jayanagar in Sullia when he was getting into his car. Sahi, fortunately, escaped with minor injuries as the bullets grazed past him but his car was damaged due to the shots.
The police are yet to ascertain the reason for the assault
