Hassan: Police officials in Hassan detained two cows for allegedly grazing in the police station compound.

It is said that the cows were tied up on the premises by circle inspector Yogish as a punishment.

The owner of the cow pleaded with the officials to release them as they are the source of her livelihood. But the officials turned a deaf ear to her requests.

However, the cows were later released after a few media personnel intervened.

The officials have warned the owner to avoid such instances in the future.
