Insult to Hindu gods on Clubhouse app; Advocate’s house vandalized

Puttur: A group of youths allegedly vandalized the house of Congress IT Cell advocate Shylaja Amarnath on Saturday after she insulted Hindu Gods during a discussion on the Clubhouse app.
It is said that members of Vishwa Hindu Parishat, Bajrang Dal, and Hindu Jagaran Vedike filed a complaint against the advocate at the Puttur police station after she insulted Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, and Lord Hanuman during a discussion on the voice social media platform.
Following this, a group of youths vandalized her house, smashed the window panes, and smeared black ink over the premises.
Police officials who visited the spot conducted an inspection.
