Chikkaballapur: It’s common to see people taking the help of the police to resolve civic and crime issues. But have you ever imagined the police taking the help of cats to manage the problems at the police station? Yes, such a scene has come to light from the “Grape District”.
As per the reports of News 18, due to the rat menace, at the Gauribidanur rural police station, the police were finding it an uphill task to safeguard their files and documents. For this, they found a solution to petting cats at the stations. They enlisted the cats and started feeding them milk. The loyal cats were then put on a mission to chase the rats for their lives. The police were successful in bringing under control the situation of the “Rat attack”.
Interestingly, as the videos of “Operation Clean Rats” went viral, one of the netizens wanted the contact details of the police station, not for police help, but for cats, as his house was rat-infested.
