Kushtagi: Thief steals Rs 2 lakh from bike’s side box

Kushtagi: A thief stole Rs 2 lakh cash from the side box of a bike parked in front of a bank in Vanagera Village, Kushtagi Taluk.
The cash belonged to a man named Shivappa Chennappa Chowdaki. It is said that Shivappa withdrew Rs 2,16,000 cash from the bank and kept it in his bike’s side box.
He then went inside the bank to finish the formalities. However, when he returned, he found the cash missing from the side box.
Shivappa then informed the bank officials who checked the latest CCTV footage. The footage showed a man breaking the side box’s lock and stealing the cash.
A case has been registered.
