Manisha from Mangaluru selected for IAF flying branch

Mangaluru: Manisha, a resident of Mangaluru has been selected for the Flying branch of the Indian Air Force. She will be going to Hyderabad for training on July 9.
Manisha’s father, Manohar Shetty is a retired officer of SBI and her mother Malathi Shetty is a headmistress of government school. The family resides in Ashoknagar, Mangaluru.
She completed her BE from M. S. Ramaiah College, Bengaluru and was working for Mercedes.
Manisha was earlier selected for the Army and Navy but she did not opt to join as she desired to become an air force pilot.
