Bengaluru: A video of the deceased Bajrang Dal activist Harsha’s sister Ashwini being unhappy by the statements of State Home Minister Araga Jnanendra has surfaced on the internet.

In the video, Harsha’s sister Ashwini can be seen speaking to the minister at BJP Party Office at Malleshwaram, in person, to express her distress over the special treatment of her brother’s murder accused at Parappana Agrahara Central Jail. She was asking whether her family will get justice in such a case.

For this, Araga Jnanendra is heard saying, “Our whole team and the government are standing in support of your family. How can you accuse us of not serving justice?” As the minister ends his statement, Ashwini says, “I’m very pleased by the way you and your department have treated me and family sir. Thank you so much. Is asking justice a sin? They are trying to shut me up”.

As she leaves the building a person is seen rushing towards her and requesting her to calm down. The person also says that an appointment will be fixed with the Home Minister to discuss on the matter. Ashwini refuses the offer and says, “No problem, sir, I don’t want an appointment. Thank you so much. When sister of Harsha herself is requesting for justice, they the minister is trying to raise his voice. What kind of a treatment is this”?

It can be noted that earlier, a video of Harsha’s murder accused seen talking over mobile phones and making video calls inside the prison had surfaced. As a reaction to this, Harsha’s family had expressed their disappointment and said that the system betrayed them.
