Red Alert: DK administration declares 2-day holiday for schools, colleges

Mangaluru: Foreseeing heavy rains for the next two days, as per the weather reports, the district administration has declared a two-day holiday (July 8 and 9) for all schools, colleges, and Anganwadis.
The weather department has issued a red alert for both Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts. Hence, as a precautionary measure, the district administrations of both districts have declared a two-day holiday.
Meanwhile, people are cautioned not to go near the sea and river shores. Fishermen are directed not to carry out any fishing activities.
