Vitla: The driver of a Trax Toofan van was seriously injured after the vehicle collided with a tanker truck on July 7.

The injured has been identified as Surendra, a resident of Sera. He has been shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru.

The accident took place when the Trax Toofan was on its way back after dropping off workers at a cashew nut factory. The Toofan was severely damaged in the accident.
