Sakleshpur: Mangaluru-bound KSRTC bus rams into truck; 15 injured

Sakleshpur: A Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus rammed into a lorry parked on the National Highway on Shiradi Ghat here on July 9.

The KSRTC bus was moving towards Mangaluru from Hassan at the time of the mishap.

The bus driver failed to notice the lorry parked on a bend, leading to the accident. Passengers on the bus escaped with injuries. As many as 15 persons were reportedly injured.

Alternate arrangements were made to ferry the bus passengers,

Police rushed to the accident spot and helped ease the traffic movement on the highway.
