Miscreants rob 400 gm gold jewellery, Rs. 5 lakh cash from astrologer

Bengaluru: A case of robbery has been reported from the “Garden City”, where an astrologer has been robbed by three miscreants.

As per the police sources, on Saturday, three miscreants entered the house of 40-year-old astrologer Pramod, who lives near Kengeri Railway Station. The miscreants who were carrying lethal weapons are said to have assaulted Pramod and threatened his life. After spending more than four hours of search, the miscreants robbed 400 grams of gold jewellery and Rs 5 lakh in cash.

Although police suspect that the miscreants might be knowing Pramod or a woman with him, in his statement, Pramod has confessed that they were strangers to him.

Meanwhile, as per the police sources, Pramod has suffered injuries on his body and face. He is being treated for his injuries at a nearby hospital.

Currently, a case has been filed and the investigation is on.
