CM Bommai visits rain-affected areas of Madikeri, hands over relief cheque

Madikeri: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai visited rain-affected areas of the district on Tuesday.

He visited the house of Gopal, a resident of Mallikarjun Nagar.

As per reports, due to continuous heavy downpours for the past 12 days in the district, Gopal’s house was destroyed. After the inspection, CM Bommai handed over a relief cheque of Rs 95,100 to Gopal and his family.

The CM was accompanied by District In-charge Minister B C Nagesh, Member of Parliament Pratap Simha, State Revenue Minister R Ashok, and others were present.
