B’luru: Prostitution racket running in guise of spa busted; 8 women including foreign nationals rescued

Bengaluru: The city crime branch officials in two separate raids busted prostitution rackets in Indiranagar and JP Nagar run under the banner of spa centres.
In the first raid, the CCB officials received a tip off that the owners of IRA spa and wellness centre in Indiranagar were indulging in soliciting customers in the name of body massages. A team of officials raided the premises and arrested two accused, Niranjan (35) and Ruby (30). Officials have rescued four women.
In another similar raid, officials raided Roohi spa in JP Nagar and arrested two accused, Sharif Saab (45) and Raajshekhar (36). Four women including foreign nationals were rescued.
Further investigations are underway.
