Bullets fired at Kannada actor Shivaranjan in Belagavi

Belagavi: Miscreants fired bullets at Kannada film actor Shivaranjan Bolannavar on Tuesday evening. The actor miraculously escaped unhurt.

Two bike-borne attackers fired 3 to 4 rounds at the Shivaranjan’s residence near Hanuman temple in Bailahongala town.

The attackers are yet to be identified, but it is suspected a property dispute may the reason for the attack.

Police officials were on-scene and have taken up the investigation.  Shivaranjan is being questioned to get information about the shooters.

CCTV cameras are being checked to trace the attackers. Meanwhile, efforts are being made to find whether the shots were fired to scare or kill the actor.
