Haleangadi: Postal employee shares location on WhatsApp; jumps into river

Haleangadi: In an apparent suicide attempt, a postal employee is reported to have jumped into the river from Pavanje bridge early on Wednesday morning.
Rakesh Gowda, a Native of Mandya and currently Working at a post office in Mangaluru is missing ever since.
Reports said that his mobile phone and other belongings were found on a bike parked near the bridge.
Rakesh had apparently shared his location with his family on WhatsApp, before jumping into the river.
Mulki and Suratkal police visited the spot and have taken up the investigation.
