Bantwal: Five including a 6-month-old baby escaped with minor injuries when the car they were travelling in fell into a ditch in Hanchikatte on B C Road-Dharmasthala National Highway on Wednesday, July 13.
It is said that Sahik, Shahina, Fauzia, Sauda, residents of Jarigebailu of Beltangady taluk were returning home after visiting a sick person.
When they reached Vagga, their car fell into a ditch and turned turtle.
The passengers were immediately rescued and taken to a nearby hospital.
