26-year-old found dead on birthday; murder suspected

Bengaluru: The body of a 25-year-old youth who had gone to meet his friends on the day of his birthday was found dead the next day.

The youth has been identified as Hemanth Kumar, a resident of Gollahalli.

Hemanth had left his house on Saturday night after his friends called him. However on Sunday morning, his body was recovered from Konasandra.

The body had brutal injury marks and his head had been crushed by a stone. His parents identified the body bases on the Trishool and Damaru (two-headed drum) tattoos on his hands.

Police investigating the case suspect that this is a murder.
