Bengaluru: Director General of Police, Karnataka, Praveen Sood has warned the police yet again, for stopping vehicles and checking documents, even if the rules were not broken.
DGP Sood has said that unnecessarily stopping vehicles, would irritate law-abiding citizens.
“By doing so, both within the city and on the highway, it would damage the reputation of the police. Hence such actions must be avoided”, he said.
It can be recalled that earlier, DGP Sood and the state government had issued a circular to the police across the state to avoid such actions.
