Bengaluru: A manhunt has been launched for a 37-year-old sales executive who is accused of killing his younger brother over a property dispute in Kamakshipalya, Bengaluru.
The accused identified as Satish Kumar worked in a private firm and lived on the first floor of the house, while his brother Vinay Kumar was living with his parents on the ground floor of the three-storeyed house in Kaveripura.
There was a long-standing dispute between the brothers over property. It is said that Satish had heavy debts and often had arguments with his parents and brother over his share in the property.
Following this, his parents and younger brother stopped talking to him. On July 19, Vinay returned home from work and went to the terrace of their house to sleep.
A fight broke out between the brothers over the same issue again. Satish later attacked Vinay with a sharp weapon and pushed him down the stairs.
The neighbors informed Vinay’s mother Jayamma that her son was lying in a pool of blood outside their house. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
