BJP hints at strengthening Karnataka Lokayukta, state cabinet to discuss likely tmrw

Bengaluru: The BJP-led state government has hinted at strengthening the Karnataka Lokayukta.
As per the sources, the government in its cabinet meeting to be held on Friday, would be discussing the topic.
Reacting to the questions on the same by the media, State Power Minister V Sunil Kumar said, “We will be discussing several important matters tomorrow (Friday) in the cabinet meeting”.
“Our party (BJP) believes in democracy, and we have adopted it in our party as well. Our party brings in changes from time to time and takes decisions based on the need of the hour”, he added.
Meanwhile, he lambasted the Congress party and its top brass for allegedly creating a ruckus, as Enforcement Directorate (ED) interrogates Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi in relation to the National Herald Case.
