Missing African grey parrot reunited with owner; finder rewarded Rs 85k

A pet African grey parrot, named ‘Rustuma’ which went missing on July 16 has been reunited with its owner’s family.
Animal activist Ravi who owns the parrot had stuck posters and launched a hunt for the pet in the surrounding areas. The family had even announced a reward of Rs 50,000 to anyone who can find their missing parrot.
As per an NDTV report, the bird had flown nearly three kilometers away from its house and had been found by a person named Srinivas had found it in a weak condition and took it home.
Upon coming to know that the parrot’s owners were searching for it he took it to them last night.
Reportedly, the pet owners gave a cash reward of Rs 85,000 to the man who traced it.
