Bengaluru: Taking a jibe at the Congress’ ‘Siddaramotsav’ (75th birthday celebrations of former CM Siddaramaiah by the Congress party), State Power Minister Sunil Kumar said, “BJP is people-centric unlike Congress which is person-centric”.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, he said, “As Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai-led BJP government completes one year term in power, the Karnataka BJP has decided to celebrate ‘Janotsav’ from July 28 to 30. On 28th the programme will be held in Doddaballapur district and on 29 and 30, it will be organized in other districts”.

“The BJP is organizing a people-centric programme, but the Congress is busy in organizing a person-centric programme”, he added.
