Bengaluru: State Minister of Small-Scale Industries and Municipal Administration M.T.B Nagaraj has said that the 17 demands kept forth by the civil workers would be soon fulfilled.
Addressing a meeting on Tuesday he said, “I’ll have a meeting with Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and will soon respond to the demand of scrapping the contract-based payment and employment system and inclusion of civil workers directly in the municipal department. Other demands like scholarships to the children of civil workers, health facilities, allowances, etc., would also be discussed”.
“Out of 17 demands, whichever could be fulfilled at the departmental level, would be responded swiftly”, he added.
